These Terms govern your use of MyDiagBuddy. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

MyDiagBuddy is a web-based AI-powered automotive diagnostic assistant for professional mechanics and shops. Features include AI diagnostic chat, DTC code lookup, VIN decoding, wiring diagrams, customer reports, and multi-bay management.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18+ and able to enter a binding agreement.

3. Account Registration

Register via Google OAuth or email/password
You're responsible for account security
Provide accurate information
You're responsible for all activity under your account
Report unauthorized access to [email protected]

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Plans:

Free — limited features, 1 bay
Plus ($29/mo) — independent mechanics
Pro ($49/mo) — growing shops
Enterprise ($149/mo) — multi-bay shops
Enterprise+ ($299/mo) — shop networks

Billing: Monthly via Stripe. USD, taxes not included. 30 days' notice for price changes.

Cancellation: Cancel anytime from account settings. Takes effect end of billing period. No prorated refunds. Refund requests within 7 days considered case-by-case.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: MyDiagBuddy provides AI-generated diagnostic suggestions. This content is:

For informational purposes only — not a substitute for professional judgment or hands-on inspection
Not guaranteed accurate, complete, or current — AI can make errors
Not professional automotive advice — always verify with diagnostic equipment and your expertise

Relying solely on AI content for repairs is at your own risk. We are not liable for damage, injury, or loss from AI-generated suggestions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service illegally
Reverse-engineer or extract source code
Resell or sublicense access
Scrape or bulk-extract data
Interfere with infrastructure
Upload malicious content
Share credentials with unauthorized persons
Generate false diagnostic reports

7. Intellectual Property

Service design, code, and AI models are our property
Reports you generate are yours for business use
You grant us license to use anonymized/aggregated queries to improve the Service

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: The Service is "AS IS" without warranties. We disclaim all warranties. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability limited to amounts paid in prior 12 months. We're not responsible for vehicle damage, injury, or loss from AI suggestions.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify MyDiagBuddy from claims arising from your use, Terms violations, or third-party rights infringement.

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance may temporarily affect availability.

11. Termination

You may terminate anytime
We may suspend for Terms violations
Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, 12 survive termination

12. Governing Law

Governed by California law. Disputes resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County. Class-action waiver applies.

13. Changes

We may update Terms with 30 days' email notice. Continued use = acceptance.
